i dived ( ok snorkled !!!! ) with one of their iphone case ..... totally safe

I use one of these for my iPad 3

sadly they also don't seem to have a case for the pro yet.
In a review I read sometime ago the lifeproof was favoured over the lifeedge slightly. This was because the lifeproof doesn't have a screen on the case, it's border seals against the iPads screen whereas the lifeedge is an all in one case that has it's own transparent screen. This means the display is better on the lifeproof.

I use a Griffin Gorilla Case on my iPad. Superb and child proof after many bumps, drops and soakings. It is a little chunky and heavy. the iPad inside is in as new condition after about 4 years of abuse.
they do a slimline version for the pro but I do not have experience of it.

The problem I'm finding is the case manufacturers are leaving a large hole for the attachment of the magnetic keyboard! Which IMHO defeats the object of trying to protect it.
