Hi, the props on my D4 powered boat are showing signs of cavitation erosion (they are only 2 years old) I’ve been told they can be welded but will need rebushing. Anyone have experience of this and how much a rebush is likely to cost?
Many thanks

Rebushing isn't expensive but the welding and machining are and the only way to get accurate figures are to get some firm quotes, you may find that having a firm to weld them will get a good price, another firm to machine the welding may get another good price, and fittting the bushes will involve little more than pressing then in and possibly reaming them.

I had C4 duoprops rehubbed for £100 per prop a couple years back by castle marine (Not sure why peeps are quoting engines here). They also refurb props. Highly recommended.
