There is a thread on Scuttlebutt entitled 'Best buy this year'.

It's two cushions made to resemble a seat!!!!!!

If the cockpit of a rag & stick is so uncomfortable that they can get excited about a cushion and backrest no wonder they hate MoBos.

You can, just keep the tank full and constantly top it up when you have used about 75 litres.

You won't go very far but you can boast like a raggie.

hmm 75L ... engine uses ~2.5Lt/hr at 7 knots ...

So - that's 30 hours engine time - 7 knots (we can ignore the tide as it'll cancel out over the 24hours and the 6 hours would be a bonus as you'd plan it that way) = 210 NMiles ..

How far do you get on 75 litres? Just back to the bar I'd imagine! :p ;)

Do you all drink Diesel?

Nah, the boat does that with consummate ease.

Prefere 'King of Scots' blended whiskey myself.

If anyone finds themselves in Cala d'Or give me a call and I will let you have a couple of sips.

By the way fireball where is your Drinks Cooler Cabinet located. Ours is just inside the saloon sliding doors so that we can keep topping up our glasses from the perfectly chilled bottles whilst seated on the ultra comfortable cockpit seating.

NB Just replaced our manservant Jeeves with a lovely young lady called Patsy who insists on wearing very tiny bikinis all the time.

Ours in the galley ... where else would you put it?
Oh - sorry - I do know of a few raggies with additional coolers in the cockpit - where you don't have to get up to reach them ...

That's going to be a bit chilly come December ... :p

7knots... that's a Mobo...

I saw this very sensible chap last Sunday, he has taken a very wise move to get rid of all the untidy wires, ropes and big metal stick! I think its quite a good looking boat now. I bet he can even afford a few of those cushions now he hasn't got to worry about sails and the like! :D

Thats the price of a round of drinks at our up market yacht club in Cala d'Or.

One has standards you know.

I guess that'll be the swanky new place on top of the hill overlooking the marina? I'm surprised it's still in business as there never seemed to be anyone in there whenever we visited Cala d'Or:)

If he's got any sense he will have used the sails to create loads of upmarket jackets, bags and whathaveyou that the posh people with Mobos buy to pretend they're real sailors ...

:p

btw - 7 knots - seriously - that's what she motors at ... turn that off and carry on sailing and the range is er ... a bit more! :p Although once you run out of drink it's a bit disappointing... :D

I just read the scuttbut post DougH.

I felt like telling him he could spend his spare time cleaning his teak. Did you see it? Blimey.

Anyway, I decided not to pick a fight :)
