Yeah. they update every 5 minutes, which is useful. but I just like watching the dials move on the real-time ones.

I think I remember (It was some time since I looked) that there are links to real-time weather on www.findafishingboat.com (there may be some hyphens in there!). It I remember right, you can look at real-time reports from all the weather buoys and coastal stations around the UK, possibly further.
I will have a look when I've finished here, just to check.

Spelling of above link is correct - I checked. Follow the "Weather and Tides" menu to useful links. http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/maps/United_Kingdom.shtml is the one I was thinking of - real-time data from weather buoys.
