Okay, I'll say it's a fake. Someone else will say noooo, it's reality and this thread dies after two responses. So why don't we change the question to something like; guess the temperature of the air and water? After that, we can have a go at the humidity.
The yacht crews Mustos are fakes ,clever copies imported from China. Also the ships captains sunglasses arent genuine Oakleys. He got them off an African street trader in Alicante /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Not a problem. The yacht is much further away and for all we know just put a tack in to avoid coming into conflict with the ship.
The ship was there in the pic as the rather atmospheric tones match nciely, but I do have issue with the tsunami at the bow and nothing at all along it's flanks.
A mixed bag of answers but the e-beers go to Boatbuilder and Lakesailor. There's no photoshoppery at all. just a longish lense. The ship is just completing a dead slow, 90 degree turn to port and the yacht is safely beyond it's reach.
Graham is dead wrong. It was 20+ degrees in the shade so no Mustos, fake or otherwise, were being worn (You could be correct about the ship's captain's sunglasses).
Stingo: Humidity was a bit on what we in Argyll consider the low side as it wasn't pissing down with rain.

That is the effect of the bulb bow and I am pleasantly surprised by how little wash such ships make at estuary speeds compared with some relatively tiny mobos and those bl00dy tugs. Particularly bad are the new Calmac Bute ferries that appear to have the hydrodynamics of a brick and the metacentre of a towerblock.
