Has anyone got any insight into doing this themselves,
A mate has a rib that the tubes are bad, and need replacing,
He is a marine engineer with mechanics etc, but i was saying it cant be that hard to redo the ribs yourself, he works with boats all day long and has his own workshop, but was sending the fibreglass hull into a shop to get the ribs redone, he also didnt know anyone that did that sort of thing that was local to his area.
Has anyone done them, themselves.
They seem to be glued on etc,
So is it just a matter of cleaning the fibreglass wing part the original rib is adhered to and regluing new tubes on etc as if you were applying a patch to an existing rib tube etc
Any insight would be helpful

Henshaws are the best for this.

I don't think it's that straight forward. It is often "just" glue but you really need to get everything perfect. The prep, mix, application time, no air, cure conditions etc.

I would let the pro's do it just for peace of mind when stuffing the nose into the waves!!!:)
