I cannot remember who posted the thread about this power cat - there were a lot of photos of it, and I offered a comment earlier where I thought it did not have enough buoyancy in the hulls to support the weight.
Has this thread been pulled? Apologies to the OP if it was because of my comment.

It seems that you've commented on buoyancy a few times.

Only if I feel that a comment is warranted, as the provision of enough buoyancy is a fundamental factor in the design of any vessel, along with a detailed weights estimation.
If the weights estimate turns out to be a lot more than the calculated buoyancy available at the desired waterline, then you have to go around the design spiral again - and either add more buoyancy (or displacement) to the hull(s), or try to reduce the weights wherever you can.
It is usually easier to simply add more buoyancy - but then the cost goes up...... it can become a vicious circle! :)
