Hello, I’m interested in a Riva 70 Dolcevita dating from 2000. I was wondering if anyone in this forum has ever owned or operated one. Is there anything in particular I should be aware of? Would be grateful for any advice. Thank you in advance.

Strong build and runs quite neat. Not as spacious as other 21 meters of the same period, see Sanlorenzo 72 / Posillipo Technema 70 / Ferretti 72, Sunseeker 74 Manhattan, and or Princess 21M all have more space.

But really you never buy a Riva for space. Four cabins version are a bit hard to find. I always liked the sporty lean look of the Dolcevita which kinda made her standout.

Thank you for the advice. Will certainly consider looking at the other brands you mention too. Appreciate the help, tq once again..

Watched on once near our fuel pontoon at La Nap .
Used to walk up and peek .
Its got a narrow beam for sure compared with its rivals but more than makes up with build detail quality , the metal engine vent grills for example , are only Italians in a Marcelo Gandini ( Lambo Muria ) esq way could do .They conceal a window as well as act as vents , solid round S/Steel bars . Hate to think how much it cost to fabricate.....well made no hint of corrosion around any welds .
As well as wood capping s and much more .
I would imagine it’s a joy to own ....even just to sit in and look at its details .
Expect the narrow beam with its v12 mans to perform pretty above average too .
looks more boat than caravan .
A rare and beautiful boat indeed .

Unfortunately, have never had the chance to see it in the flesh :(

There is one for charter in Phuket and once my country‘s borders open, was thinking of chartering it for a week and possibly even asking them if they would be interested in selling. The other one I was looking at was based in Greece. Just one question, both boats date from 2000, should I be concerned about their age? The one in Phuket was refurbished in 2018. The one in Greece looked in good condition although can only tell from pics. Please advise.

I’m based at portals in Mallorca and amongst all the beautiful boats my favourite is the Riva Dolcevita, real class. Look forward to hearing if you go for it.
