i have been in touch with the evinrude dealer suggestd and i thought you might be intrested in the answer.
The plastic prop fitted to my 50hp evinrude is rated upto 100hp.If you ding it you can get a replacement blade as these are replaceable.Owners who have these props report no drop off in power under heavy load.
