There were a few problems getting downloads, but these have been solved - running smoothly now.
BTW: the 12V manual is really good: It's called THE 12V DOCTOR'S HANDBOOK
so me being intelectually challenged on the subject of 12V it is exactly what I need.

I have had problems with the version of Adobe Acrobat. Version 6.0 keeps hanging the computer, requiring a power-on restart. Version 4.0 working fine. Same thing with some UK Government forms sites which by default offer you 4.0. Anyone got any clues?

I downloaded the 6.0 version, but opened the document in 3.0 - it seems I haven't installed 6.0 properly. They do take some time to downoad, however, ever with a broadband connection. The documents don't open if you use your lefthand button, click "save as", and you'll be right as rain. Documents open easily from the location they're saved to. Sorry if this sounds a bit over-evident, but I made that mistake myself.
