Reminds me of one of Ronald Regan's early speeches to NATO when he started talking about the GNC. His aides and advisors paniced because they didn't have a clue what the GNC was, and they were afraid Regan would drop himself in the brown smelly stuff. Turned out he was talking about the Agean Sea.

yep GOC gen opp cert...basically a commercial SRC cert. Also allows me to teach the SRC once i get acreditation.....

A week's course and you're allowed to teach SRC? I hope no-one asks you any of those complicated questions! ps why GOC instead of LRC? Are you thinking of chopping the yacht in for a Xchannel ferry?

a week....god not at all did it over 14 or so weeks along with my coastal skips course. did it with an ex merchant navy chappy.....of course the goc was examined by a departmental examiner...that said i know people that di dit over a week....
