Does anyone know if it possible to get chain re-galvanised in Greece?
If so, what price / quality?
There are so many yachts and large vessels in the country that someone must do this.

I was at the Agmar yard in Partheni, Leros, last Sunday, where I saw a pallet load of chain very obviously regalvanised using a batch dip process, i.e. not done on a specific chain line. The quality appeared to me to be OK with few or no links stuck together. No idea where it was done.

recently, i have used following company to re-galvanize the chain
http://www.galvanistirio.gr/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
chain is 10 mm, about 55 m , weight 120 kg , cost E120, time about 4 days
they can offer a transport if more boaters are willing to use their service - reducing the shipping costs !
the factory is very close to elefsina but it is a little bit difficult to find, specially the first time :)
if you need more info , please pm
