I have used Ronseal hardglaze before but just couldnt bring my self to give B & Q £43 of my hard earned £s for 2.5lts & then do my own check-out.
i went onto Amazon & found Rustins satin floor varnish @ £14 a ltr delivered, so ordered 2 tins on friday & it arrived yesterday.
i had already sanded both sides of the teak faced ply bds & gloss varnished the under sides by yesterday.
i have now applied 5 coats of Rustins to the top side with a mohair roller & tipped-off with a 2" brush.
The finish is hard ( rubbed down between cts) & certainly a better finish that the Ronseal.
Time will tell but it looks promising
will post some pix later
