Budget Cruise last weekend, to try the new moorings at the lock.
Borrowed one of the clubs gas BBQs for the Saturday evening.
Few of us continued up the river to East Farleigh through Maidstone town centre on the Sunday before heading back down to catch the afternoom tide.
The bridge at Aylesford.
Despite the iffy weather forecast, it was sunny and warm.
The new moorings cost £10.00 pounds a night which you prebook via the lockeepers.
You can of course still park outside the Malta Inn.
Club members on one particular boat decided that the shorter the walk to the bar the better.
Next week 12/13th July is the clubs major event, The Admiral of the River (the newly elected mayor of Merdway) Cruise.
Basically a beating of the bounds with added food and drink. Usually around 50/60 boats from the club take part along plus any other clubs that want to join in.
