Managed to press gang 6 boats into our little cruise. The grown ups are off to the Orwell and all points north, leaving us ditchcrawlers to struggle down to Sheerness, into the Swale and thence Faversham Creek.

The local chap representing the council has been very helpful in reserving a mooring or two.
For those who do not know Faversham, it is a very old historic town and one of the secondary cinque ports.
It is also home to the Shepard Neame brewery.

Dont come home too early, i might be in your mooring!! (Together with 10 other TWYC boats)

ha ha, nah I have a noisy generator for that!!!

Arrgh..... so its you with the bloody noisy generator that follows me around on the Thames when I am trying to get to sleep at 2am.
The other thing keeping me awake is some brand new EA rib flying up and down ,apparently after iffy fisherman by all accounts :)
Saved up for ages to scrimp together the bargain price to gain access to Gods second best river and all.

Welcome to Adnams country S-N never could brew beer,
will keep an eye out for you

Best you check the tide tables if you are going through the Swale and then up the Oare to Faversham

Have been before. Will be coming in as early as possible on the flood. If we cannot see the groove in the mud marking our arrival....we came in too late. :)
Sarah T. Sitting very nicely on the mud.
