Raytheon to Raymarine

I'm trying to work out when Raytheon changed to Raymarine to help with dating some secondhand kit I'm looking at. Can anyone help with the date when they changed their name?

January 2001....

Raymarine was formed in Jan 2001 as a management buy-out to acquire Raytheon's recreational marine division.

The clue is in the serial number of unit if it has one. For example 0790434 is july 1999 build number 434.
