raytheon autopilot upgrade

have a Raytheon 4000ST plus wheel pilot and would like to upgrade to linear drive.
Would it be possible to replace the wheel drive for a linear drive?

any experience?

It wouldn't be easy; the linear drive requires power supply to the clutch, and the ST4000+ doesn't output this.
