Have 'no GPS fix' problem which is common with the 120. Does anyone know if they are repairable. I have been informed that there is an internal lithium battery with is non servicable and the only solution is to renew with the Raystar 125 which retails at £250 mark.

maybe someone may know of a solution or be selling the Raystar 125. I have posted on the wanted section but no good.

Thanks

It's worth replacing the internal battery. The batteries are only cheap and ther is good chance it will fix the problem.

Had exactly same problem.

I purchased one of these about a year ago, instead of the horribly overpriced Raymarine item.
Dead easy to wire in and worked first time.
Also attacked old unit with Dremel and replaced internal nicad but no luck,so bought new unit.
Tell them which unit you have and they will send out the correct bit .
