Hi,
I am looking at adding a couple of IP cameras to an HS5 switch but there is only 1 spare port.
I have found out that most IP cameras should work if the ONVIF verification can be turned off.
The Raymarine 5 port switches are horribly expensive (I really don't want a second one) and I have found one from Teletonika TSW101 AUTOMOTIVE POE+ SWITCH which runs off 12v and also provides POE (12v) so an IP camera with POE would mean only one cable and much simpler installation. This unit looks like it was developed for the automotive industry so is pretty rugged and 'reasonably' priced at around £56.
Has anyone had any experience of this POE switch and whether it will work daisy chained off the HS5?
Thanks.
