Raymarine User card not formatted

Has anyone had a problem with a Raymarine Pathfinder chart plotter not reading a C-Map user card correctly ? I store a route using C-Map's Planner program and then when I try to read it on my plotter it says "User Card not formatted". Any ideas ?

What size card? I think you need recent-ish software on the raymarine to handle the larger cards. 128K cards should work on just about anything though.

Have you tried formatting it in the plotter and then writing to it on your PC, it might be that your PC might be trying to format FAT32 or something. You can also change your format options on your PC if you are using a card reader to do your formats.

I could be talking gibberish as I do not have a ray plotter or in fact a plotter that I can format the cards on my PC anyhow. I am coming from experience of digital camera problems with media, something I know a little about.
