Raymarine ST60 tridata help

ST60 tridata has been working fine, but on last trip to the boat it's gone a bit squiffy:

Speed has changed to KMH from KTS and the depth has stopped working.

When you try to enter the CAL menu you get CAL and OFF and pressing the depth button yields and unhelpful beep.



Any thoughts?

If you Google about you can download the manual which explains how to configure it, I can't remember off hand how to do it,but it's not very intuitive.

It looks like it's just lost its configuration, Mine did the same as yours a few years ago.

It sounds like it has gone into Dealer Calibration Boat Show Mode which can switch the User Calibration off and displays the screen you are getting. To enter Dealer Calibration press the speed and depth keys for 12 secs (not the 2 secs for User calibration), once in here you can turn the Boat Show Mode Off.

I've got the ST60 manual but it makes no reference to dealer/boat show mode.

When you enter is it easy to turn off?

If that fails, you could try the factory reset option!

So we can get it to this screen but then it won't respond to further commands.

Any way to reset the unit if you can't get into the dlr reset menu

If both the trip and reset buttons work independently, It's starting to sound a bit broken

After shouting, swearing and bribary not to mention the frustratingly hitting of buttons it reset itself and is working.

im sure it was ain boatshow mode, the question is how it got into that mode - no one has touched it and its been sat on the dash with the cover on??????

Could be moisture getting behind the keypad, or a software glitch.

Jez doesn't do buttons, I recall one on the AC unit...........
