Raymarine ST60 speed and temperature sensor

The temperature on my ST60 has been reading wrong for some time and I want to replace the sensor - the speed sensor works but it's a bit of a joke because the paddle wheel needs constant cleaning. So what I want to ask is:
- Where's the best place to source a replacement, and
- is there a cheaper replacement unit which is a temperature sensor only and fits in the same thru-hull?

Airmar make the sensors and have a compatibility page on their website you can check. They’re pretty good at responding to mails too. I don’t think they have a sensor that does what you’re after though.

A 10k NTC taped to a nearest metallic thru-hull works just fine as replacement for the original temp sensor.

I never got around to replacing the sensor and, lo and behold, after almost 2 years giving spurious readings it miraculously fixed itself and has been reading accurately for the last month or so. Time's a great healer
