Raymarine ST60 gaskets

I have ST60 instruments (not the ST60 plus version). I want to varnish the wood they are mounted on, so would like to obtain new gaskets so they are properly sealed. I have looked at all the usual websites, Marine Superstore etc, but can't find any. Does anyone know of any supplier that keeps them?

I've removed and replaced our ST60's a couple of times for exactly the same purpose. The gaskets are quite spongy and I've never worried about reusing them. They have never leaked to the best of my knowledge.

This may be tricky. From Raymarine's point of view these are obsolete. As far as I know, for example, you cannot get replacement sun covers from Raymarine for these units. Sometimes old stock or parts come up on e-bay.

As an alternative, you might possibly be able to make your own replacements if you can source some suitable material.

There is a firm in Littlehampton called GP Products who make our compressor gaskets. To have them cut what you want would be expensive for just a few, but they would be worth a call for an off cut of a suitable material.
