Raymarine ST40 power cable

I need to test an ST40 wind instrument on the bench at home, and don't have a Raymarine power cable here. If I make one up, what should I do with the Seatalk line? Presumably tie it to ground via some resistance, but what?

Presumably it's like the ST60, the Seatalk connection can be left open-circuit for stand-alone operation. Just connect power +ve and earth.
