Does anyone know in detail which Seatalk datagrams the ST2000 tiller pilot listens for and broadcasts?
I actually have several sources re the datagrams it can receive, and I’m particularly interested in those related to remote control commands.
But I can’t find any decent documentation online about what it might put back out onto the Seatalk bus?
I can see via my Miniplex3 that when the ST2000 is on, it puts out heading and rudder angle regularly. Rudder angle seems to always be 0 regardless of where I position the control arm… is that right?
Does it output anything else? Status or identification messages?
What about acknowledgements, responses, or confirmations in response to remote control commands?
How does something like the S100 remote, for instance, keep in sync with the ST2000?
any insight gratefully received!
