Raymarine speed/temp sensors not backward compatible?

I need to replace the Raymarine (Airmar) speed/temp sender on my boat. I thought this would be easy to source but it is not!

The existing version on my boat has a small low-profile knurled head with a large stainless steel ring attached. I have now ordered three of these online, from three different vendors, all showing a photo with the steel ring. But they have all sent me a different version with a chunky round head, marked Airmar, without the steel pull out ring. This version does not fit under the floorboards of my boat.

So has the old version now been discontinued? Or are all the vendors just not speccing correctly their websites? Even the Raymarine website is not particularly helpful.

I think that most transducers have been made by airmar for quite some time so may be worth speaking to them or sending them a photo

Airmar has an excellent website at https://www.airmar.com/xref which shows all their products and all of the OEM versions. They also have full documentation on the mounting tubes (and their telephone and email support is amazing). You probably have the ST60 I'm assuming and the short answer is that yes, that style was discontinued so you'll need to change out the mounting tube.
If you get really stuck, I have the old one in the bilge which was working last time I checked through an iTC5. It's still wired through to the helm but eventually I will have to remove it as I replaced it with the DST version from B&G this year.
