I have an RL70C at my chart table and have just had an A75 fitted at the helm. Unfortunately every time I set go to waypoint on the RL70C the A75 cancels it within about 2s. As I do my passage planing at the chart table this is an unwelcome feature.

Is this normal or is there a setting that can stop this from happening? In theory I should be able to set a route or go to from either device but this is not the case at the moment.

No idea EXCEPT, I have a RL70c and a R70+ radar and they are both very possessive about their routes and waypoints to the extent that I have to elect which one is "master" and upload the routes and waypoints to the other one with a cryptic deep rooted menu option. Perhaps the A75 RL70c combo is the same.

How do you elect the master? At the moment the A75 is the only one that can accept a route I need to set it the other way around.

As I said I elect the master, in other words only make changes on one display and then copy the waypoint and route information to other display. It sounds like you must use the A75 as your primary input device then "possibly" copy that to the RL70 your problem is that the devices are a decade apart ask Raymarine.
