I have a Raymarine RC435 plotter, when switching on, after a few minutes I get the following error:

SWI 11- -END EXEC
*Code = 0x00008105*
*ADDR = 0xC0051DF4*

The plotter then locks and tells me to switch it off.

Any ideas ?

Have you tried to update the firmware...

You will need a spare compact flash.. I used one of my camera units, 512mb I think. The firmware files are small and available on the raymarine site. iirc you insert the card loaded with firmware and power up.

If the fault you are having is firmware, then the biggest worry is why has it corrupted. If updating/reloading your firmware does work, you may have to accept that something else may be wrong, such as internal memory power supply.

If not, maybe your plotter is pining for a trip home to raymarine for a fix..

Interested to find out how this turns out.

Similar problem

Hi,

I also have a Raymarine 435 plotter and mine occasionally freezes and comes up with lines of code on the screen. I just simply switch it off and then back on again and this clears the error. I updated the firmware from the Raymarine website Link and followed the instructions. It is slightly better but not 100%. My local Raymarine dealer thinks I need a new processor card at about £200.

Hope this helps
