Raymarine radar

I have a C70 chartplotter, the hot keys to turn on the radar appear shaded and do not respond to touch. How do I turn my radar on from standby?

Radar not connected most likely its not powered on, you may have a seperate switch or fuse.

I have the same system. I find it very confusing, compounded by the long delay to start or enter standby. But once you follow the right steps it all works, waiting for 15 - 60s. It is reasonably clear on how to turn on and off in the handbook. I sometimes wish I had a little light on the radar dome to show when it's running.

I cut my wire for mast removal and rewired via a block so at least I can check for voltage.
