Hi all. We currently have a Raymarine C120w at the chart table and a C90w in the cockpit. I need to buy a new chart card for a different cruising area but the retailer warned me that there is a possibility that the new CF card might not work in our plotter due to possible insufficient memory. I also need to update the firmware as it’s still on 1.13 and should be on 2.35. Has anyone had any experience of / issues with updating the firmware and then buying a new card. The reatailer was kind enough to say he’d be reluctant to sell me the card at just under £300 as, if it doesn’t work, that’s a reasonable amount towards a new plotter!
