I have 7 year old C70 plotter and ST60+ instruments . The C70 and Wind has fogged badly again in the last couple of weeks. They remain fogged even when full lights are on for 6 hours.
For the last 2 years the C70 has been back to Raymarine who have repaired fogging issues at quite a cost. The Wind was fogging earlier this year and was fixed by Raymarine in the spring and is now fogging again.
Is this typical of Raymarine instruments and should i get them repaired again (if so Raymarine or someone else) or maybe brought off the boat and put in the airing cupboard for the winter to see if they dry out?
Alternatively do I need to consider replacement?
The ST60 Tridata and 6002 Autohelm units are not fogging at the moment.
