The 9" version. Its about 8 years old and this year the touch screen has started to not responding to being touched. It also has started to put cursor marks on the screen. The rotary control still seems to work OK and removes the cursor and allows control. Turning off and back on seems to sort the problem out for a while but it then comes back.
At the time of purchase the dealer also sold Garmin and B&G but felt that raymarine was the best suited for me.
The whole unit looks in good condition as when in use it is inside a wheelhouse and when not in use in padded computer bag down below and out of season kept at home.
I don't think that I have ever updated the software and it has never been connected to the Internet. The last bit of new kit attached to the network was an evo autopilot about 2 years ago.
Someone suggested updating the software, but when I read and try to understand the instructions I get really confused. As it is networked, I suspect any update will affect the AIS, autohelm, i50 and i60 (speed, wind and depth) instruments, the i70s multi display and finally the ITC-5.
Any suggestions apart from binning and changing everything to garmin !
