Raymarine gps problem

Hi all wonderd if anybody can help with some info about my Raymarine gps RC435,
Went out fishing on Sat it was working fine on the way back home it froze saying
( system halted )

tried it again today and it cant find I fix ( location ) then same message comes up,
But my standard horizon gps works fine,
just wonderd if anybody got same problem with satalite ???

Years ago i had the same gps and yes you do have to do a factory reset to get it back working again. I had a lot of waypoints that was lost when the reset was done and it was really annoying when i reloaded them back in to have to do a reset a month later.

Try factory reset but GPS receiver failure is very common.

Raymarine slowness to get a fix is an indicator that the mushroom thingy is on the way out. Get a new one as spares. Or of course, de-raymarine your boat...
