Hi. I bought a couple of items last year and it was almost half the price but after the customs chaps put their slice on plus the postage and insurance it was almost the same. If the items are sent with a note on the customs label saying that they are replacements for faulty goods then you have a good chance of not paying the import duty. You wouldn't catch me doing that though! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
No one has yet explained why the price differential in the first place, given that the items are all assembled in Hungary from far eastern componants they should be cheaper in Europe. The same situation existed when Raymarine manufactured / assembled in Portsmouth. I supose the answer is its sells for what people are prepared to pay it.
