I have a Raymarine C120 display next to my wheel. Having seen a demonstration of the fishfinder option I'm thinking of adding a sensor. I have separate depth, so I can either add a through hull sensor for the C120 or convert the depth to through hull and fit a fishfinder in it's place. To avoid any confusion, I consider a through hull sensor to be one which senses through the hull and therefore does not need another hole in the hull. Any comments on the practicalities or costs?

Be aware that a DSM fishfinder will (according to Raymarine) not give depth for depth warnings.

I fitted two transducers to overcome this but then they can interfere in terms of waterflow. Great kit but talk to Raymarine before drilling holes!
