Raymarine E7 Radar choice

I am wanting to buy a new radar system for my Raymarine e7 plotter for use on my 34ft AWB.

I wanted some forum advice before I talk to suppliers to understand what I am looking for.

Can anyone advice on the most suitable model (if indeed I have an option) and explain whether the cable would be an old fashioned thick cable or a small cat 5 data cable (which would be easier to install).

I see references to digital, Hd, 3G/4g Etc etc and really would appreciate some help as to what to go for and where is cheapest to buy it.

You'll need a Raymarine radome, and you only have a choice of digital or HD. HD offers better definition through use of colour. Both types use smallish cables (you'll have a power cable as well as a data cable). When you decide what you want, Google should find you the best price.
