Raymarine E7 Hybrid to replace my current one anybody have one for sale ?

Someone pulled the card reader out, mystery otherwise all good with it
Raymarine said cant and wont fix it due to it being a old model.

Awaiting its return mean time looking for another one

The Black Friday prices on Axiom 7s might mean cheaper to buy a new one, unless you have other stuff like radar that needs the older model to link to

Makes sense. Cactus had a new Axiom 7 at £480 last week, albeit not the one with buttons.

Mine failed. Not economical to repair and decided second hand prices not worth it so went new.

Be aware that moving to an Axiom 7 will require an adapter plate to be purchased or fabricated.

An Axiom 9 (touch screen) is almost the same footprint as the e7 Hybrid, slightly larger

ASDA do a nice white plastic chopping board about 6mm, that can be cut to make an adapter.

I did know he was talking about a 7, I was merely trying to be helpful by saying you can fit a bigger plotter with a minimal space penalty and avoid having to source or manufacture a surround.

That’s what I did for a temporary install of an e7 in a hole for an e12. Except it was a Tesco one.
Worked well

Plastic chopping board also used to fill mast hole when take mast out. Handy material to have in the supplies.
