Raymarine E7 display own course vector

Having had faithful service from my Raymarine E7 Hybrid touch M/F display for at least 10 years, a winter run up the river revealed that the "own ship" course vector was not longer being displayed. Neither the system manual nor YouTube have been of any help. I have reset the system and still no own-course vector. What buttons do I need to press to get it back? Thank you.

Assuming that is an e7 generation plotter (ie the later lower case e version, not the earlier upper case E) then it should run Lighthouse 2 software.
It is worth downloading the PDF of the Lighthouse software manual - as much easier to use than a paper one.

AFAIK there is no “Course” vector, but there is a Heading Vector. Open the PDF manual, and search for “Heading Vector” and instantly takes you to the relevant page (14.17 Chart Vectors) and will show you how to check if the Heading Vector length has been set off.
I could copy and paste the page, but you will find it much more useful to find the PDF and search it, as will save time next time you need something
