I've connected a P319 Airmar transducer to a Raymarine e127. However, the e127 isn't recognising that there is a transducer connected.
The P319 is listed in the Airmar cross reference table as being compatible with the the sonar version of the e127 and e97 and came with a plug which connects directly to the e127, no need for a patch cable.
Does anyone out there know if I have to enable (switch on) the e127's internal sonar system? And any ideas on how an e127 recognises that a transducer is connected?
The P319 is a dual frequency (50 and 200 kHz) 600 watt transducer with a built in thermistor ( or at least I think it is probably a thermistor) to measure temperature.
I've contacted Raymarine's help desk by email, but no reply as yet.
