Raymarine DSM fishfinder Module wanted

Fishing on an S28???

The only place fish belong on an S28 is:
- In the fridge
- Under the grill
- Inside the crew

been on fleabay for yonks that one at a price that's probably achieved that outcome

There was a "make offer" option. Try a cheeky bid, you never know if it's been a while.

*It has nothing to do with me* lol

thakyou fpr posting but I'm looking for a 250 or 300. cheers Gary

I have one which has been in a cupboard for a couple of years which makes it 3 years old. It has hardly been used but I have it as a spare for my current boat, if you are interested then pm me with a final price that you are prepared to pay, I will then have a decision to make.:)

I had a DSM 300 on my C120 and it was a fabulous fish finder. Best out there for general leisure use and I used mine exclusively mid channel for wreck finding / fishing.

They aren't cheap.

The DSM250 is ok just not quite as high spec although I can't remember why.

BUT
A far cheaper way of getting the result you are looking for, which isn't a high quality image of a wreck or the swim bladder of a Pouting in 200' would be a half decent colour fishfinder from Lowrance or Garmin etc.
About £200 to £250 will get you a good basic unit that will do what you are asking. Clearly you want to link with your C70, but why split the screen on that when a separate screen wil be clearer and easier to use?

it's a space thing at the helm, these map reading plastic screens are great but they leave little or no room for add ons I'm afraid

I could mount it where this fella has it mounted but there's a mount for the backup / handheld GPS in that position at present

Surely the handheld GPS can live in your kit bag or grab bag until needed?
Does it really need a mount of it's own for the one trip that you will actually need it. It could even live under the plastic screen if there is enough depth?
