Hi

I fitted a raymarine a67 plotter last summer and it works fine and has the latest quarterly software updates on it.

In the data box set up you can have the battery voltage shown. It doesn't show the voltage and I am wondering why! On my last boat it had a Garmin plotter and it did show battery voltage.

Does any one know how the Raymarine gets the V's information from?

Thanks

John

I don't know the answer but on my boat I get the voltage from one of my repeaters. Maybe the plotter has to get a signal from an outside sensor which it repeats.

My raymarine e7 has a facility to show the battery voltage - but none is shown - so guess it needs some separate connection ?

My old, and deceased, A65 had a voltage display as a selectable option. It merely gave a reading of the voltage supplied to it. I don't know if my present e7 has that option, but I would expect so, but I don't really want something so unnecessary taking up screen space. I already have two other sources of voltage readings.

Yeah don't really want on the display either just curious that there was no reading. Not sure where you could add a another connection.

Thanks all for your replies

J
