Trying out my c80, newly talking to SH matrix AIS via an actisense multiplexer, I am sometimes getting a "N" symbol in a square box and connected to the boat symbol with a dotted line (red I think). It was only possible to remove it by turning everything off and starting again and seemed to be something to do with tracking a route (not using the auto helm at the time). There are no filters on the nmea sentences being received/transmitted by the multiplexer. Setup includes depth, wind, gps, radar, log, compass, auto helm. Plus the SH which is the new bit multiplexed via the actisense. Any suggestions welcomed. There's no help from the c80 manuals unless I've missed something. Thanks.

Why not try the technical forum on the Raymarine site - their guys normally answer things like that pretty quickly

Update for those interested.

The "N" symbol in a square means that the C80 is receiving a waypoint via NMEA. The symptom I have may be related to a data loop between the SeaTalk and NMEA signals and needs a little more research when next encountered.
I forgot to mention that I have also installed a PC receiving nmea from the multiplexer via a USB lead and running PCPlotter. Has anyone had this issue before or any suggestions about how to solve it? I guess I need to turn the PC into a receive only device. That's not a problem for me although I would like to be able to synch waypoints and routes from PC to C80 and back from time to time.
