Raymarine C70 says "Position Fix Lost"

This forum is amzaing, last Saturday I got the "Fix Lost" message and thought I was looking at buying a new GPS. I have now bought a new battery and will try replacing it next weekend. Many thanks to Slipstream 34.

Incidently I got two CR2032 cells from Asda for four quid, they were sold out of the single packs, which were £2.30 IIRC why would you pay £3+ to Farnell ?

mine was £1.07 from CPC Farnell delivered so why pay double + fuel to collect it

You can even buy them in poundshop but for mission critical I'd have gone with branded from Asda or whatever...

How much are they there

Battery now fitted ( ordered yesterday @ 14.42 delivered @ 11.00 today @ no cost to me ) & a blob of araldite to hold it in place.

Replaced the battery at the weekend, easy peasy, unit now working as normal. I tested the old battery and got a reading of 30 mV, no wonder it was complaining.
