I have a C80 chartplotter with GPS antenna, digital sonar, and radar antenna.
Would like to have an extra C80 to have the sonar and the shart plotter simultaniously at full screen
I know that just a extra sonar display would help, but I prefer to have a second C80.
Does anybody know if the info on one C80 (chart data, GPS, radar and sonar signals...) can be linked to a second C80 ?
Or do I need to choose which signal is fixed visible on the first or the second C80 ?
I guess there is no solution in the C-series (no networking ?)

The current C series cannot be networked. The new C series widescreens can be networked, 2 screens only

To network, you have to get 2x E80s plus a HS Switch hub, or 2x new C series widescreens

But remeber the screen of one 120 is bigger than the screens of two 80s put together. Most of the 80 footprint is taken up by the grey surround and the buttons, whereas the 120 is much more "space efficient". So why not just dump your C80 and fit a single C120?

sorry I didn't read your answer,
I liked the idea of having two of the same display's
but you're right I will probably replace the C80,
Then perhaps its better to go for a widescreen C120?

Yes, go for wide C120W or even C140W if you have space. It all depends on your dashboard space. And cost - the w series is more expensive than normal c. The main thing I wanted to tell you though is that 2x c80 or 2x e80 is a very bad choice, becuase you get 2 tiny screens and lots of grey plastic and buttons. With a single c120 or wide C120 you get more screen area and less grey plastic than 2x c80

So an upgrade to 1x c120 would be good and cheap, and c120W c140W better but more expensive

If you or anyone decides to fit a STNG backbone for the new ST70 instruments let me know, becuase I have LOADS of the(expensive) cables and connector blocks left over which I'd be happy to give to anyone who needs them for an installation, in return for a small donation to the lifeboats or something
