Raymarine Axiom 7 networked to es97 plotter

Has anyone managed to downgrade Lighthouse 4 to Lighthouse 3? I’m trying to do this on an Axiom 7 to enable the es97 to talk to it. The Axiom doesn’t appear to recognise the 3.11 software on any microSD card…..although I’m led to believe it should be possible. Yes I have contacted RM support and am still awaiting an answer.

Can't answer all of your questions, but i can tell you that the software on two RN MFDs has to be the exact same version.

For example, if you had a pair of identical Axioms and there was an update, which you applied to one MFD, they will no longer communicate. In fact, it's very likely one of them (usually the one with the older software) will keep rebooting. This can be a pain, so it's best to only have one on at a time whilst updating.
