Put it on ebay with a reserve of 99p. You will get lots of interest and now is the best time of the year to sell sailing stuff.

I put it on eBay with a start of £100. It reached £260 but the top bidder didn't pay up so I had to report him, claim my fees back and relist. The second auction reached £250, the top bidder paid immediately and the goods are now on their way by Hermes. I'm pleased.

I've been 'watching' the auction for another tillerpilot which finished today for one which seemed identical to mine. It only reached £143.

Mine is older than 38 and I have no plan to retire it; I will certainly retire myself from sailing before that extremely sturdy Old Salt...
