raymarine 240 e radio

have a raymarines
240 e radio it worked fine until this season i can receive messages but cannot transmit.. i think the antenna needs replacing its 2 yr old ...any thoughts on possible problem or suitable/best replacment

the mic is not very waterproof and goes manky. Or mine did anyway. See if you can borrow the plug-in handheld bit to check that a new one would solve it. Or you could try bodging around with the mic, perhaps, but i didn't...
