Can anybody help? I made a bit of a mistake when upgrading the wiring on my boat. I had the ST50 instruments connected via the small data wiring from my C140. I stupidly did not make a diagram of the colour of the wiring from one to the other. Now of course i can get the external GPS to talk to my chart plotter which it was before. The ST50 has the following wires These are red positive yellow info and bare negative. The Chartplotter manual doesnt help the wires they suggest are incorrect. I recall one of the wires was a white and yellow but the rest ????. Ive looked at the Raymarine site but nothing helps. I must of got the info from somewhere before. So anybody have the answer.
I know the C140 has an internal but i would prefer the other outside GPS

That ST50 wiring sounds like Seatalk1 so will only connect into a Seatalk1 port. If you check the manual for the equipment you are trying to connect the ST50 to, it should be clear which is the Seatalk1 port and which cable goes where.
