Ray 240E VHF \"Little\" prob...............

The handset is disconnected and safely put away from the helm when leaving the boat.

When putting it back, no GPS signal ! (This is the first time for this)

Unfortunately I didn't have time to investigate any further as we were due in Cowes for the Sealift2.

Pics and post to follow later !

Any ideas - start of the season rustiness ??? !!!

Mr B,

When you connect bridge handset is the 240 powered down?
Try connecting up then powering on the VHF.

Had issues yesterday with mine. Station control decided to move to lower set a few times and it also reverted back to channel 16 on its own (no DSC alert alarm).

Interesting?

Jack ( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I tried powering up, off, connector on, then off.

Will check all connections next week - just seems unusual as not happened before !
