Raw water pump on Newage/ BMC 2.2 Commander diesel.

Apart from possible problems with fuel, the raw water pump is also showing signs of its age: it has a constant, annoying, drip.

It's a Jabsco pump, driven by a splined shaft, and sits in front of the fuel injection pump.

Does anyone know if a service kit is available, please?

If it is, is it a simple task for even a dimwitted numpty, with very few tools (eg it looks as if a press would be very handy)?

The service kit is a SK228. Please let me know if you find anyone who actually has them in stock.

Sheridan Marine or alaboutboats.co.uk should have stock. ASAP have none.
Buy just the seal from a bearing supplier? Much cheaper.

When I had bmc 2.52's the raw water pump seals and bearings were easily got from the local bearing supplier.
